ProjectWise Installation Instructions

The installation instructions below should be used if your company does not currently have it's own ProjectWise installation standard. ProjectWise installation requires administrator permissions, please contact your company's tech support for help installing the product.
Even if your company has it's own configuration of ProjectWise you will need to follow the steps in the configuration section to be able access HNTB datasources.

  1. Download the installation files:
  2. Extract all files from the zip files. You should see the files in the screenshot below.

  3. Uninstall any existing ProjectWise Explorer installations, including removing all existing add-on installations such as Office 365, AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit integrations.
  4. Open the 1-ProjectWise_Explorer_10.00.03.280 folder and run pwclt100003280.exe
  5. Turn on I accept the End User Agreement
  6. We recommend leaving the installation folders at the default but follow your company's procedures.

  7. Click the Next button
  8. On the feature selection dialog, turn OFF ProjectWise Integration for Microsoft Office 365.

    • Be sure to completely clear the checkbox.
    • You can still work with Office documents with this disabled.
  9. Turn ON Export-Import to Excel
  10. Turn OFF Spatial Extension
    • If your company uses Spatial ProjectWise on their datasources, leave this on
  11. Turn ON Bentley DGN Navigator Control

  12. Click Install
  13. After Installation completes follow the instructions on the configuration page to finalize your ProjectWise installation.
