Issues using the ProjectWise Web Client

We don't recommend using the web server except for light usage of ProjectWise: reading/reviewing Microsoft Office or Adobe PDF documents. If you want to install the full client, instructions are available on the Support web page.

The most common issue using the web server occurs when trying to install the Internet Explorer extensions after logging into the web server.

To ensure the extension installs cleanly on your machine, we recommend adding our ProjectWise Web Server site to your Trusted Sites list in Internet Explorer. Instructions on doing this follow:

  • In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, and select Internet Options

  • Click the security tab
  • Select the Trusted Sites in the Zone selection
  • Click the Sites button

  • In the "Add this website to the zone:" field type https://pw.hntb.com (note the https)
  • Click the Add button

  • Click the Close button
  • Click OK on the Internet Options dialog
  • If you browse to https://pw.hntb.com/ in Internet Explorer 8, the status bar for Internet Explorer 8 should that the site in the trusted sites zone.
